We are currently recruiting a Junior Engineer-Hydraulics and Drainage with experience in Hydraulics and Drainage design, to join our busy and expanding experienced team. The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of projects. Our clients work for private and public sector and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering water designs for many years, throughout the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand among others. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation and Water projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team for Enterprise Capabilities.
The responsibilities of this role include:
Supports designers and engineers in the delivery of drainage projects.
Sets standards and procedures for CADD and modeling works.
Works on assigned tasks under close supervision, following clear instructions and established procedures.
Performs self-checks of work products before submission and participates in quality control reviews of documentation from equally or less experienced staff.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in hydraulics and drainage (H&D) design related to drainage of highways or railways projects, with a clear interest in developing a technical career in this field.
Good command in Civil3D, including setting up standards and creating pipeline alignments, profiles, cross sections, grading, and operations with surfaces.
Experience with hydraulics and hydrology software packages such as HEC-RAS/HMS, StormCAD, Infoworks ICM, OpenRoads Designer, 12D, etc., is well considered.
Fluent in English (oral and written).

Bachelor or Master degree in Civil, Environmental or Water Engineering or related field.
