DescriptionReporting directly to local and group management, the successful candidate will be fully responsible for accounting, finance, payroll, and office administration, acting as a trusted business partner to the leadership team.Key responsibilities include:Full responsibility for statutory accounting in compliance with Polish regulations (CIT, VAT, payroll)Preparation of monthly, interim, and annual financial statementsTimely preparation and submission of tax declarations and statutory reportsOversight of cash flow, bank relations, FX settlements, and payment processingManagement of accounts receivable and payable, including partner reconciliationsPreparation of payroll, bonuses, benefits, and employee settlementsCooperation with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutionsMaintenance of fixed assets register and accounting documentationSupervision of HR administration, including employee records, leave, training, and business travelHandling of office management, contracts, insurance, and fleet administrationOperational support through Transport Management System (TMS) activities where requiredActing as a central point of contact for finance and administration-related matters
ProfileThe ideal candidate will combine strong technical accounting expertise with a hands‑on, pragmatic approach suited to an international SME environment.Key requirements:Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar8+ years of experience in accounting, including senior responsibility (Chief Accountant / Lead Accountant)Excellent knowledge of Polish accounting law and tax regulationsExperience in logistics, transport, or operationally complex businesses is highly desirableProven ability to manage finance, payroll, and administration end‑to‑endHigh level of independence, accuracy, and reliabilityComfortable working in a lean structure with broad responsibilityPolish (native) and English (working proficiency) required; French or German is an advantageStrong systems aptitude (ERP/accounting tools; TMS experience a plus)
