Middle Office Senior Analyst

We are supporting an international financial services organization in the recruitment of a Middle Office Senior Analyst for the Middle Office team in Warsaw. The Middle Office Senior Analyst will be responsible for overseeing daily operational processes across multiple asset classes, ensuring the accurate flow of trades from execution through to Back Office accounting systems. The position requires a high level of product knowledge, strong organizational skills, and the ability to act as a subject‑matter expert within the team. Key Responsibilities Ensure all daily Middle Office processes for Equities, Bonds, IRS, and FX are completed accurately and within required deadlines.Conduct daily control checks, including end‑of‑day validation of trade bookings, and escalate outstanding issues in a timely manner.Support the Middle Office Manager in team oversight and operational governance.Act as a functional SME, providing guidance to junior team members and serving as an escalation point for process‑related queries.Maintain and enhance internal control frameworks to ensure full compliance with regulatory and industry standards.Build and maintain strong working relationships with brokers, clients, settlements teams, and third‑party vendors.Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies and operational exceptions efficiently.Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly reports on trade volumes, exceptions, and control metrics for Front Office and senior management.Maintain comprehensive documentation, including process procedures and team checklists.Lead or contribute to operational and system projects, ensuring timely delivery and high‑quality execution. Candidate Profile, Experience & Skills 2–5 years of relevant Middle Office experience within financial markets.Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management across multiple asset classes.Practical experience with systems such as Fidessa and CTM is highly advantageous.Excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and a structured approach to problem‑solving.Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of assigned tasks.Professional communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Fluent English, both written and spoken. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of ISDA documentation.Broader product knowledge across Equity and Fixed Income markets.Prior experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.Previous involvement in process or system enhancement projects. Education Bachelor’s degree preferred; however, candidates with strong relevant experience will also be considered.
