The Role As an IBMi Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for: - Administration and operation of IBM Power and IBMi environments - Management of LPARs, virtualization, HMC and VIOS - Maintaining infrastructure in operational condition (MCO / RUN) with high availability constraints - Installation, upgrade and maintenance of IBM i systems and related components - System monitoring, alerting, and incident resolution - Participation in PRA / DR exercises - Security hardening and compliance with infrastructure standards - Industrialization and automation of operating tasks - Contribution to infrastructure evolution and modernization initiatives - Technical support and guidance for projects running on IBM i platforms What We Offer - Long‑term position on strategic IBMi platforms - Technically strong environment with real infrastructure depth - Exposure to large‑scale, mission‑critical systems - Professional growth within IBMi and Power technologies Who You Are Technical Skills (Required) - Strong experience in IBM i (AS/400) system administration - Solid knowledge of IBM Power architecture - Hands‑on experience with: - LPAR management - HMC - VIOS - Operational knowledge of production environments with 24/7 constraints - Experience with monitoring and incident management - Good understanding of system security and operational best practices   Technical Skills (Nice To Have) - PowerHA / availability mechanisms - Backup & recovery strategies on IBM i - Automation / scripting (CL, Shell, Python, etc.) - Exposure to IBM i modernization  - Experience in financial or regulated environments - QuickEDD and MIMIX knowlegule   Profile - Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT / Systems / Infrastructure (or equivalent experience) - Experience: 5+ years in IBM i / Power infrastructure - Comfortable working in structured, high‑availability environments - Strong problem‑solving mindset - Capable of working autonomously while contributing to a team Being You The “Kyn” in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
